Ghost Light Masquerade is an immersive, promenade-style contemporary ballet blending dance, immersive theater, and spine-tingling storytelling. The Soap Factory’s industrial architecture is transformed into the fictional Nocturne Theatre—an otherworldly labyrinth of corridors, flickering lights, and multiple glowing stages. Audiences do not sit in traditional seats; they roam freely and choose their own path as interwoven scenes unfold across the space. Upon entry, each guest receives a masquerade mask whose color signals their preferred level of interaction: one color welcomes engagement with the Resident Spirits (the performers), while the other indicates a desire to observe. The atmosphere features haze, strobes, and laser effects, with close audience–performer proximity. The experience is eerie and elegant rather than a horror show—no gore or jump scares. Because of the free-roaming format, parties may become separated during the event, and guests under 16 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult.
