Shabbat, Torah Reading: Noach - 2026 – Chabad Jewish Center of RSF, Del Mar

About this event

This event represents the weekly Shabbat service and Torah reading for Parashat Noach at the Chabad Jewish Center of Rancho Santa Fe. As a traditional Chabad-Lubavitch service, it incorporates standard Shabbat liturgy alongside the specific weekly Torah portion (Parashat HaShavua). The Friday evening time denotes the official candle-lighting time (18 minutes before sunset) which initiates the Sabbath, while the Saturday evening time marks the conclusion of Shabbat (Havdalah) at nightfall. The service provides a communal environment for prayer, study, and reflection on the weekly reading. The Chabad Jewish Center of RSF emphasizes a welcoming atmosphere for all Jews regardless of background, offering a traditional kosher dinner and community engagement alongside the spiritual observances.
