About this event

Iron & Wine is the musical project of Samuel Beam, an American folk singer-songwriter from South Carolina. Known for his haunting, whispered vocal style reminiscent of Elliott Smith and the folk leanings of John Fahey and Nick Drake, Iron & Wine creates timeless indie-folk music. Beam is a multi-instrumentalist who plays a variety of stringed instruments, from banjos to slide guitar, to accompany his vocals. His musical style has developed throughout his career, featuring ornate arrangements and incorporating diverse influences such as traditional Mexican music and jazz. This specific performance at The Magnolia in El Cajon is part of his Fall 2026 tour and features the support act DUG.
