About this event
The Orchestre symphonique de Montréal tours to San Diego’s Jacobs Music Center for a special presentation hosted by the San Diego Symphony. Music Director Rafael Payare leads a radiant program that opens with Samy Moussa’s Elysium, continues with Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto featuring Leonidas Kavakos, and culminates in Stravinsky’s The Firebird performed in its complete ballet version. This appearance features the visiting Montreal orchestra; the resident San Diego Symphony Orchestra does not perform.
