Christ Center Bonfires is an outdoor, community-driven spiritual gathering designed to foster connection and faith. Held at the public bonfire pits along Crown Point Drive in San Diego, the team posts a “Mission 811” sign along the path to guide attendees to the evening’s fire pit. The evening includes a communal potluck, encouraging guests to bring wholesome foods like fruits, vegetables, and simple homemade dishes. Because of the waterfront setting, attendees are advised to bring their own seating (beach chairs or towels) and to dress warmly with hoodies, blankets, and layers for the cool air by the sand and water. The goal is to create a safe, welcoming environment for people at any stage of their faith journey to share stories, worship together, and build supportive community.
