Since winning the 2021 Leeds International Piano Competition, Kazakh pianist Alim Beisembayev has established himself as a leading virtuoso, praised for phenomenal technical command and a distinctive creative voice. This Wigmore Hall recital explores fresh perspectives on the art of the fugue, ranging from J.S. Bach to Brahms. Presented as part of the Wigmore Hall 2026/27 Season, the event also participates in youth access initiatives, including £5 tickets for the Under 35s Scheme and limited free tickets for 16–24-year-olds through the CAVATINA Chamber Music Trust.
