About this event
The Spreckels Organ Society Concerts offer a relaxed and engaging way to experience one of San Diego’s most iconic outdoor venues. Held at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion in the heart of Balboa Park, the concerts feature the world’s largest outdoor pipe organ, an instrument boasting over 4,500 pipes. The pavilion was constructed for the 1915 Panama–California Exposition and gifted to the City of San Diego by brothers John and Adolf Spreckels. Performances are designed to be accessible to all, running for exactly one hour every Sunday at 2:00 PM, rain or shine. Programming typically spans a wide range of styles—from early classical to contemporary arrangements—and traditionally includes a major work by Johann Sebastian Bach.
