Sr Gesellschaftsabend – Funkhaus Halberg, Saarbrücken, Saarbrücken

About this event

The SR Gesellschaftsabend is a historic, quarterly live cabaret and comedy broadcast produced by Saarländischer Rundfunk. Founded in 1973 by Hanns Dieter Hüsch, it is one of the longest-running and most prestigious platforms for Kleinkunst (cabaret/chanson/comedy) in the German-speaking world. The 2026 season marks a significant relaunch as cabaret artist and musician Carmela de Feo (as “La Signora”) becomes the permanent host, succeeding ALFONS after 17 years. The format has been updated for 2026: Sunday evening performances running strictly from 18:00 to 20:00 without intermission. The stage concept mixes established political and musical cabaret heavyweights with rising newcomers and award-winning slam poets. The live event in the SR Grosser Sendesaal is produced as a multi-channel broadcast: live on SR kultur, later on SR 3 Saarlandwelle, and on-demand in the ARD Sounds App for up to two years.
