Julian Dawson is a British singer, songwriter, guitarist, and harmonica player whose music spans pop, folk, blues, and country. Over more than 40 years he has released around 20 albums of his own and collaborated with renowned artists and bands such as Little Feat, Can, Plainsong, BAP, and Gerry Rafferty. He also produced acoustic albums for Wolfgang Niedecken that achieved high chart positions. His concerts are marked by an intimate, almost family-like atmosphere in which Dawson jokes with the audience, takes song requests, and presents a straight-ahead approach that is not driven by commercialism. On his solo tours he performs alone with guitar and harmonica, bringing his passion for music to the stage. Most recently, his anthology “Life And Soul” was released on Blue Rose Records, a two-part career overview that traces his musical odyssey.
