Cabaret artist and comedian Michl Müller dances the “Limbo of Life.” As the Roman politician, writer, and philosopher Cicero once stated: “No sober person would ever think of dancing, unless he were insane.” More than 2,000 years later, this statement is being refuted for the first time—by Michl Müller, cabaret artist, comedian, Franconian native and carnival philosopher. In his stage program “Limbo of Life,” the multi-award-winning artist and musician shows that all of life is a dance—one that, surprisingly, can be managed soberly and without major fits of madness. Sometimes mischievous and witty, sometimes uproariously direct and earthy, then once again gentle and reflective, Müller navigates with humor through the highs and lows of everyday life. Limbo dancing demands posture and skill: the bar is horizontal, the back bends backward, knees and shoulders may not touch the floor. To pass under the bar without touching it, you need talent and flexibility. That is even more true in the “Limbo of Life.”
