About this event
This live-to-film concert projects the 1973 Czech-German fairy-tale classic "Drei Haselnüsse für Aschenbrödel" (Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella) on a large screen while a full symphony orchestra performs Karel Svoboda’s original score in perfect sync. The performance lasts about 90 minutes without intermission. Presented in the FilmPhilharmonic Edition, the film is shown by permission of Deutsche Kinemathek on behalf of the DEFA Stiftung, and the music is performed by permission of Pro Vox Music Publishing. In Freiburg, the event is presented in collaboration with Alegria Konzert GmbH.
