The Englishman Joe Jackson is a multi-talented musician and an indispensable figure in pop music history. Named after the character Joe 90 from the 1960s TV show of the same name, the gifted British singer-songwriter won the hearts of fans worldwide with his songs. David Ian "Joe" Jackson was born in 1954 in Burton-upon-Trent, UK. In the 1970s he founded the Joe Jackson Band, with which he released his debut album "Look Sharp!" in 1979. In total he has produced over 25 albums—solo, with his band, as live recordings, and compilations. Hits such as "Steppin’ Out," "It’s Different For Girls," "Is She Really Going Out With Him," "Breaking Us In Two," and "Left of Center" are just a small selection that reached high chart positions. The Briton repeatedly changed his style, moving from rock ’n’ roll to classic rock. On the "Hope And Fury Tour 2026," Joe Jackson will perform together with his band.
