In his new solo program “LoopSessions,” multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Michael Fenzl performs without his usual backing band. With the help of a loop station, he plays his signature double bass, guitar, organ, and stompbox almost simultaneously. As a one-man band, he reimagines his songs live while singing, creating an intimate concert experience directly with the audience. The repertoire spans his entire output, from profound ballads like “DO DROBN” and “OIWAI EASY ISLAND” to upbeat party tracks such as “SOMMER” and the Oktoberfest hit “BIERDRINGA.” The program invites listeners to reflect and dream, but also to sing and dance along, all enriched by the artist’s humorous anecdotes.
