Die Kay Ray Show 2026 – Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, Dublin city

About this event

Die Kay Ray Show 2026 is a provocative, genre-defying cabaret and comedy tour led by German entertainer Kay Ray. The production is characterized by its highly extroverted and unconventional approach, blending elements of trash, poetry, anarchy, and chanson. The staging relies heavily on Kay Ray’s persona as a "bird of paradise" in the cabaret scene, using a mix of stand-up comedy, musical performances, and direct audience interaction. The concept intentionally avoids traditional boundaries, oscillating between emotional depth and unfiltered humor. A notable feature includes spontaneous, unorthodox interactions—ranging from small talk with the camera to cutting an audience member’s hair during the live show. The tour is presented in a decentralized manner, with local cultural offices and venues acting as presenters in their respective cities.
