Schwester Cordula Liebt Westernromane – Das Sandkorn Theater & Mehr GGmbH, Karlsruhe

About this event

The music-comedy duo Schwester Cordula combines Saskia Kästner’s acting and singing with Dirk Rave’s virtuosic accordion. Together they push the limits of what two performers can stage, drawing musically from Johnny Cash to Mozart. After programs about doctor, mom, and homeland pulp novels, this opus turns to the Western novel and its cowboys. The show breaks conventional entertainment molds and brings the Wild West to the stage with sharp wit and a wide musical palette. The duo received the Baden-Württemberg Kleinkunst Prize in 2023.
