Orchestral Symphony Concert
Part of the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra’s 2026 season, this two-part all-Mozart program is led by Music Director Jaap van Zweden and presented on consecutive days at two major Seoul venues. The concert contrasts light and darkness, joy and sorrow—emotions that marked Mozart’s short life. In the first half, Dutch brothers Lucas and Arthur Jussen perform the Concerto for Two Pianos in E-flat major, K. 365. The second half turns to Mozart’s final, incomplete masterpiece, the Requiem in D minor (completed by Süssmayr), capturing the work’s profound grief. The Requiem features a Korean vocal quartet with the National Chorus of Korea. The program is included in the orchestra’s Music Director (M) Package and Seoul Arts Center (S) Package.
