This classical viola recital by Sejune Kim unfolds under the theme “Sound of Lineage: Franco‑Belgian” at the IBK Chamber Hall of the Seoul Arts Center, a 600‑seat venue designed for chamber acoustics. Produced by Presto Company, the evening highlights Kim’s artistry and the Franco‑Belgian tradition that has shaped modern string playing. A prize‑winning violist, Kim was the first Korean to take second prize at the 2018 Tokyo International Viola Competition and, in 2019, became the first Asian appointed principal violist of the NDR Radiophilharmonie in Germany. Trained initially as a violinist, he turned to the viola at the Korea National University of Arts before further studies in Berlin and Hannover.
