This concert is the third installment of the complete Bach keyboard music series presented at the Seoul Arts Center’s Inchoon Art Hall. It explores Johann Sebastian Bach’s English Suites and French Suites by contrasting the sonorities and performance practices of the modern piano and the period harpsichord (cembalo). The intimate 100-seat Inchoon Art Hall, located within the Music Hall, provides an acoustically refined setting ideally suited to the delicate timbres of the harpsichord alongside the resonance of the piano.
