About this event
The Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, led by Music Director Jaap van Zweden, presents an all-Mozart program that spotlights the composer’s irrepressible brilliance. Running alongside the orchestra’s Mahler cycle in 2026, this pairing offers a focused classical counterbalance. The concert opens with Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 3 featuring French virtuoso Renaud Capuçon. He then joins SPO principal violist Yoonji Kang for the intimate and dialogic Sinfonia Concertante, K. 364. The second half is devoted to Mozart’s final symphony, the majestic and radiant ‘Jupiter,’ whose noble grandeur and contrapuntal mastery crown the program.
