About this event

Laercio Resende, a baritone in the OSESP Choir since its founding in 1994, also composes music for dance and theater. In this Chamber Series program, members of the Choir and Orchestra pay tribute to their colleague by performing a selection of his works. The concert also features Beethoven’s dramatic String Quartet No. 4, in which he shows complete command of the style developed by Haydn and Mozart while introducing strikingly original elements. The program concludes with Chorinho for Keith by Roberto Sion, long recognized as one of the great names in Brazilian instrumental music.
