Directed and conceived by Frédérique Smetana and Michal Láznovský, the action unfolds in an abandoned railway carriage transformed into an improvised cabaret stage. The setting symbolizes a world in upheaval, capturing the melancholic and satirical spirit of historical Prague. The show explores exile, identity, and the end of an era through a mosaic of literary texts and musical numbers. A distinctive soundscape crafted by Gilbert Gandil heightens the immersive atmosphere of this piece of musical theatre, bringing actors, singers, and instrumentalists together on stage.
