About this event
This special concert marks the 10th anniversary of composer Toshio Mashima’s passing. As Volume 2 of the Yamagin Kenmin Hall Series, it presents a prestigious joint stage by the Yamagata Symphony Orchestra and the Tokyo Kosei Wind Orchestra. Mashima, a major figure in both wind and orchestral music, is celebrated here through signature works and pieces connected to Yamagata. Under the baton of Tsuyoshi Oi, audiences can fully savor the distinctive Mashima sound woven from winds and strings.
