This concert opens Teatro Mayor’s Mozart Festival, curated around the 270th anniversary of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s birth. The program presents three works by Mozart spanning solo sacred vocal repertoire, a sinfonia concertante that showcases principal winds, and one of his late symphonic masterpieces. Soprano Ana Durlovski leads the opening motet Exsultate, jubilate, followed by a sinfonia concertante featuring oboe, clarinet, horn, and bassoon in dialogue with the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Colombia. The evening culminates with the Symphony No. 41 (“Jupiter”). Presented under the artistic direction of Yeruham Scharovsky, the event is a concert-format performance without staged elements.
