About this event

Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, with its famous Ode to Joy set to Friedrich Schiller’s text, will be performed by the National Symphony Orchestra of Colombia conducted by Yeruham Scharovsky. They are joined by the National Choir of Colombia and a quartet of soloists: Betty Garcés (soprano), Andrea Niño (mezzo-soprano), Jorge Puerta (tenor), and José Antonio López (bass-baritone). This work is recognized worldwide as a universal symbol.
