The Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra presents Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome under Iván Fischer, as part of the "Uniquely Great" concerts. This large‑scale symphonic event brings orchestra and chorus to a 12,500‑seat arena through a collaboration with MOJO Concerts. The concept culminates in a participatory finale: after the orchestra, professional choir (National Mixed Youth Choir) and four international soloists perform the complete work, the audience is invited to join in the Ode to Joy. Ticket‑holders receive preparatory materials in advance, and at the venue Fischer and vocal coach Irene Verburg rehearse the audience before the last movement. Soloists are Eleanor Lyons (soprano), Olivia Vermeulen (mezzo‑soprano), Mauro Peter (tenor), and Hanno Müller‑Brachmann (bass).
