The KBS Symphony Orchestra’s 831st Subscription Concert takes place on Friday, 30 October 2026 at 8:00 p.m. in the Seoul Arts Center Concert Hall. Under the baton of Michael Sanderling, the program opens with Korngold’s Much Ado About Nothing Suite (Op. 11), followed by William Walton’s Violin Concerto with Frank Peter Zimmermann as soloist. The concert concludes with Brahms’s Piano Quartet No. 1 in G minor (Op. 25) in Arnold Schoenberg’s celebrated orchestral arrangement. Spanning late Romanticism and the early-to-mid 20th century, the program showcases the orchestra’s coloristic range and the virtuosity of the guest soloist.
