It will sweep you away. Wagner’s music is rarely so celestial as in the prelude to his drama of forgiveness and redemption. Violinist Ning Feng makes a welcome return to the Town Hall stage for Berg’s dream-smitten concerto ‘in memory of an angel’, contemplating nostalgia, tender affection, and rage against fate.
