About this event
Beethoven’s “Pastoral” Symphony, inspired by the countryside, will be amplified in these performances with artwork from the Kimbell Art Museum’s landscape collection. The concert program opens with American composer Missy Mazzoli’s ballet suite Orpheus Undone and concludes with Benjamin Britten’s Serenade for Tenor, Horn, and Strings, which draws from a series of poems exploring the mysteries of the night.
