Known around the world for his vocal power and magnetic presence, Bryn is a true master of song. This recital is a rare opportunity to hear Bryn up close, performing music that means a lot to him – from traditional Welsh folk tunes that echo of home to hits from musical theatre and classical lieder. His extraordinary voice will fill the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall, every facet of his extraordinary instrument shining bright. Terfel is joined by harpist Hannah Stone – his wife and long-time collaborator – and celebrated Australian pianist Andrea Lam. Together, they strip things back to what matters most: beautiful music, performed with honesty and soul. It’s rare to see an artist so at home across so many styles, and rarer still to catch it in one performance. From folk to opera, it’s a full portrait of Bryn Terfel – storyteller, showman, and one of the great voices of our time.
