Theatre is magic—and listening makes you want to let your throat gurgle and your tongue flutter. Lydia Mahnkopf and Jonathan Ware present songs to children and their adult companions that invite them to use their own voices. Anyone who has spent time with this youngest, eager-to-imitate audience knows how joyfully babies and toddlers respond to sounds. The musical adventure is framed by a story about the finest singers around us: the birds in the woods and the garden. And so imagination, too, grows wings.
