About this event

Even after his departure from the Hamburg Ballet, John Neumeier remains the director of the Bundesjugendballett, which was founded at his initiative. He brings together young dancers who devote themselves to contemporary dance with commitment and remarkable skill. As a company without a fixed stage, the ensemble regularly performs in schools, hospitals, retirement homes and even prisons, bringing dance to people who have little access to it. In Baden-Baden as well, the Bundesjugendballett fans out from the Festspielhaus and dances in the Bénazetsaal of the Kurhaus.
